    Description

    Single flush mount top slide bolt semi-mortise style in cast iron and original antique copper finish.   This door bolt is circa 1900.
    Bolt is mounted as semi-mortise so that when it is in place the plate is flush with the door surface.  Bolt plate measures 6" high x 1 1/4" wide and requires a 3/4" surface mortise to mount. (bolt shown from side in photos ).  The iron knob operator is 3/4" diameter and the bolt throws about 5/8".  Original flat keeper measures 2" x 7/8".  Spring is very strong and will hold the bolt in position when engaged.  Purchase is for one bolt in original finish - complete and working.
