RHC 'WINDSOR' ENTRY / VESTIBULE MORTISE LOCK: DOUBLE KEYED w/BOTH KEYS! MODEL # F-01242  (15321)
NOTE:
The Windsor pattern was one of Reading Hardware's most successful design efforts. They produced this pattern on mortise locks of many different sizes, finishes and model numbers from front door entry locks to passage locks to cabinet latches to rollers for sash windows.  Check the size of the lock you need carefully against our measurements.
Vintage, Circa 1870-80, both keys work perfectly, beautiful, Reading Hardware Co., 'Windsor' design brass faceplate, completely reconditioned, works perfectly.
The lock is reversible.
FACEPLATE:
Faceplate is brass and measures 6 7/8" long, 1" wide, 1/16" thick.
BOX:
Box is 3 1/2" deep from the front edge of the brass face plate and it is 4 3/4" top to bottom.
SCREWS:
Screw holes are on 5 7/8" centers.
BACKSET:
Backset (the distance from the front edge of the face plate to the center of the knob post hole) is 2 5/8".
DROP:
Drop (the distance from the center of the knob post hole down to the center of the round portion of closest the key hole) is 1 5/8.  It is 3" from the center of the knob post hole down to the center of the round portion of the lower key hole.
KNOB POST:
The lock requires a standard 5/16" knob post.
KEY:
Both the upper key (to pull back the plunger) and the lower key (to work the deadbolt) are included.
The lock is fully restored and functions perfectly.  High quality lock.
