For your consideration is a rare George Jensen Denmark flaring Cactus vase designed by Gundorph Albertus, circa 1940’s-early 1950’s. This vase has a great moderne form, and nice raised Cactus decorations encircling the foot. Very heavy gauge silver used in making this Piece. The condition is very good (light surface scratches from moderate use) and the Piece has not been monogrammed. Marked: ”DESSIN”, “G” superimposed over a “A” (Gundorph Albertus’s mark), “GEORG JENSEN” in a beaded oval, “DENMARK STERLING” and “700”. Weight: 415 grams. Height: 4 1/4 inches.
