This flush mount raw aluminum pop up gas cap and mild steel weld in bung is an excellent option for your custom gas tank or fuel cell. The raw machine finish is an excellent paintable surface so you can match your paint scheme for an even more stealth look, or you can polish the cap for a shiny appearance. This cap works great for custom gas tank applications, and is the same cap we use on motorcycles and hot rods here in our shop when that flush look is desired. We have customers welding these into chopper gas tanks, pickup truck beds, hot rod door jambs, custom fuel cells, and many other applications, all with excellent results.
