An antique Yale mortise lock which has been cleaned, polished, and restored. It is fully functional. The faceplate is 8 3/8 inches by 1 1/8 inch, and the body is 3 3/4 inches by 6 inches. It can be configured for left or right hand door openings. It has push buttons to make the exterior knob locked or unlocked and still leave the interior knob unlocked at all times. A key would have the ability to unlock the bolt but also move the latch. No key is provided and condition of the lock cylinder is unknown. The center of the lock cylinder is 2 3/4 inches from the faceplate. Each part of this lock has been removed, cleaned, and inspected before being reinstalled in the newly painted lock body. All visible brass parts have been polished. This sturdy lock is made of brass and iron. It has lasted the test of time and will continue for decades to come. The ideal buyer is someone who already has this lock installed but it has become damaged or broken or someone who is looking for old world craftsmanship. At your time of purchase please indicate if you would like a polished or a tarnished faceplate, and if you would like the lock cylinder to be 1 3/8 inches depth or 1 1/8 inches in depth. You will not receive the exact lock that is in the photo but your lock will be the same make and model.
