Description
For your consideration is an incredible antique screen door latch manufactured by Sargent & Co. in New Haven Conn. in the 1890s.The latch is no. T5462A as shown in the 1910 Sargent hardware trade catalog. The latch has a functioning locking mechanism. The latch body and strike are made of cast iron, the knobs and escutcheon are made of bronze. It is in very good functional condition. Dimensions are shown in the photos. Come with everything you see in the photos.
